I’ve been re-reading Alan Davis’ Excalibur again, after the ClanDestine mini-series crossed over with it. In doing so, I saw the greatest character that doesn’t appear in a regular series of his own, as shown in the image at the top of this post.

Captain Britain as Iron Fist.

I wonder what would he be called? Captain Iron Age UK? I was never good with names – perfect design, perfect concept. Why didn’t Brubaker and Fraction pick up on this in their Immortal Iron Fist stories?

This comes from Excalibur #50, where dimensions are intersecting at the same point in space (the lighthouse that was Excalibur’s headquarters).
